Comfort food and relaxation capture the experience dining at Amore Restaurant on Amidon and 21st. This evening I opted to try the Spinach Ravioli. It was rich and creamy just as described. We relished the roasted ravioli and salads for appetizers which never disappoint. Nathan, our treasured waiter, took amazing care of us and treated us to tiramisu and dessert liquor. It was so delicious! True, we took home leftovers but it was all so delicious it will be a delight to enjoy for a second round.

Whenever I see a new Italian place, you know I just have to try it. While being a very new restaurant, only 1 week old, it's clear the staff was starting to figure out a groove. Still some expected kinks, and knowledge of the menu was a little rusty, but everyone was very kind and provided superb service. We had a child with us, wish they would have offered a high chair, but they could improve on that in the future. Service was quick and we got our food in a very reasonable amount of tim. As for the food, it was excellent. I tried the chicken Parmesan which was one of the best I've ever had. The lasagna was also well above average. Only the fettuccine alfredo was a little lacking in flavor. The bread and garlic cheesy bread were delicious. Everything was clearly freshly made to order. The marinara sauce and vodka sauce were both very tasty, and not terribly overpowering. While still a young restaurant I think this will easily become an Italian staple for Wichita, which has seriously lacked good Italian food. Highly recommend trying this place if you need a good Italian meal. Be patient with the staff as they perfect their system, and being so new there is not yet a bar, so no wine with dinner, but looking forward to being back when those services become available.

I'm working a couple doors down from Amore and called in an order....unfortunately at 8:30 realizing they closed at 9:00. The girl that took my order (unfortunately I did not get her name), offered to bring my food down to me and was very gracious. The food was very good and it was my first time trying it so I'm impressed!!! I got the meatball trio which I didn't realize came with a couple of rolls, and the cheesy garlic bread and both are very good!!

We had lunch on April 15th for a friend's birthday. She really loves this place. It was my first time here so I was expecting a nice result service wise and food wise. We were there right when it opened at 11. It was just us at the restaurant a group of 6 in total and a 2 year old. Besides being left alone for majority of our time there and waiting a while for our checks after asking for them. ( it wasn't busy all so we didn't understand why the long wait or why our server would disappear offen. Not that we really mind since it felt like we were having a private event. But it becomes inconvenient to track our sever down.) it wasn't all bad. I personally only had the meatballs I do not like sausage meatballs personally so I was caught off guard when biting into it. Overall everything looked and tasted great. My friend is also allergic to cinnamon and was brought a dessert that had cinnamon in it.(we didnt order said dessert) We asked the waiter if it had cinnamon and he claimed to not understand what cinnamon was but he did go ask. The whole situation wasn't a big issue but it would have been nice if they would have ask before severing a dessert. Services wasn't bad but it wasn't the best either.

Dined in for a late lunch 3-4 pm. The service was prompt and friendly , the food was hot and fresh. I had the Chicken piccata, my friend had the shrimp and lobster ravioli. We had the meatball trio as an appetizer. The garlic rolls that came with the entree were fresh and hot. Everything was excellent!! Definitely will be back!! Second trip back a few months after the first, the staff is so friendly, the food was amazing. Love this place!!

A bit of a hidden gem! The serving portions were impressive and both meals overall were really delicious. The ambiance is still under development but the food is worth it. The liquor license is still getting approved so we brought in our own white wine for dinner. We dined on the chicken parmesan & shrimp tortellini. A very nice neighborhood restaurant that warrants the locals business.

The service was just the best. The wine selection was great. But the food was spectacular. I can not wait to visit again.

Love the food there. My favorite meal is the Chicken Milanese. Lansagne is very delicious as well. Bread and garlic oil is very tasty.
